Mission:
Since 1985, UNM Truman Health Services has been at the forefront of the battle against HIV in New Mexico. Our mission is to offer accessible healthcare services to individuals living with HIV and to eradicate the HIV epidemic through education and compassion.

Call to Action:
In New Mexico, around 3,400 individuals are living with HIV, a significant number of whom are low-income and struggle to afford essential expenses like medications, rent, and bills. The UNM Truman Health Services HIV Glow-Out was established as a fundraising initiative to assist these individuals in accessing vital resources, ultimately enhancing their health outcomes and benefiting the community. Our aim is to ensure that people living with HIV in New Mexico achieve an Undetectable status, which significantly improves their health and lowers their risk of transmission, giving them a better quality of life.
