Golden Slipper Camp invites you to Play It Forward at a cocktail party where we'll swing into CAMPaign 2026! Come catch up with old friends, make new ones, and raise funds to re-imagine our camp playground for generations to come!

It’s time to play our part in shaping the future of camp!

There will be signature drinks, tasty bites, and that Slipper magic you know and love, plus a playground-themed auction that will have you jumping for joy.

During this event, we will be honoring our 2026 Golden Citizen Award Recipient, Ken Gilberg. Ken has been a dedicated member of the Golden Slipper Club and Charities since 1987, serving in various leadership roles throughout the years. He was president of Golden Slipper Camp from 1995 to 1998. He also served as president of Golden Slipper Club and Charities from 2001 to 2003, and again from 2016 to 2019. In recognition of his significant contributions, Ken was honored with the prestigious Golden Slipper Gold Medallion Award.

Ken is married to his sweetheart of 51 years, Nanci. Together, they have built a life rooted in service and family. Nanci served as the Golden Slipper Camp needs coordinator from 2005 to 2022. Ken and Nanci have two sons, Brian and Adam, who are happily married to Eden and Alli, respectively. The couple is also blessed with four grandchildren: Remy, Asher, Sammi, and Archie.

Professionally, Ken was a respected attorney practicing labor, employment, and human resources law, with a career spanning from 1976 to 2021. He earned numerous accolades, including being named a Top Attorney by South Jersey Magazine, a member of Who's Who in American Law, and a Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine (a recognition earned by only the top 5% of attorneys in each state). Now retired, Ken enjoys a variety of activities in his free time, including golfing, traveling, and enjoying winters at Hunters Run in Florida.
