Founded in 2022, Hair & Hope is dedicated to raising awareness and funding to provide cold caps to cancer patients to help reduce hair loss during their treatment, as well as to provide other support to cancer patients receiving treatment. The mission of Hair & Hope is not only to meet the tangible financial need of providing cold caps to cancer patients going through chemotherapy (cold caps can cost $2,000-$2,500 for a full course of chemo treatment and are not covered by most insurance plans) but also to provide a source of encouragement, support and mentorship/friendship to the patients we are walking alongside as they begin their treatment journey.
