The Meatatation Experience blends the craft of BBQ with moments of intention, meditation, and self reflection. This is not just a cooking lesson. It is an invitation to experience how the slow, steady work of smoking meat mirrors the slow, steady work of being human.

BBQ is art. It teaches patience, timing, presence, and the value of letting things develop at their own pace. Qualities that are mirrored in and can be developed through mindfulness practices and meditations in our daily lives. Justin and Stevie guide your group through this process in a way that is relaxed, personal, and deeply reflective without ever feeling formal or heavy.

Friday Evening: Begin with Intention

Your group gathers to prepare the meat, mix the rub, and light the smoker. Along the way, Stevie offers simple moments of intention setting and grounding, helping everyone arrive fully and step into a slower rhythm. Justin and Stevie walk everyone through the artistry behind BBQ and why the beginning matters.

Saturday Afternoon: Reveal, Reflect, and Share

Return for the unveiling of the finished meat. Learn how to rest, slice, and serve it while exploring the ways slow craft teaches presence, patience, and awareness. The group enjoys a shared meal with gentle reflection prompts and short meditation moments guided by Stevie.

All food and drinks are provided for your group of eight. This experience is perfect for anyone who enjoys good food, good company, and the chance to slow down and reconnect with themselves.
