Hi! We're Special Needs Cobb, a nonprofit organization focused on serving our neighbors with special needs through residential options, respite and resources. We opened our doors in 1956, making us Cobb County's original special needs nonprofit.

We own and maintain 22 residential group homes for special needs adults in Cobb County, one in Bartow County, and a weekend respite home in Smyrna. We have high standards for the quality, safety, and level of comfort of our homes, because our residents need and deserve homes with heart. We serve families and across the region who would otherwise fall through the cracks in our healthcare and social services systems because of the lack of affordable, safe care for loved ones with developmental, physical, and intellectual disabilities. Additionally, 43% of our residents have no family connection. We are their home for life.

For our 2nd Annual 'Homes with Heart' Auction, we've again teamed up with talented local artists to create beautiful one-of-a-kind birdhouses that we auction off online here on Givebutter. These birdhouses will be up for bids mid-September through the end of our 'Homes with Heart' luncheon at our 26th Annual "Pars for Stars" Golf Invitational on Monday, October 14th at the Dogwood Golf Club in Austell, GA.
