Each year, artists create their own takes on the theme of our annual gala for a silent auction. This year, the Delaplaine has expanded the auction online! Participating artists have created Wonderland-inspired artworks (most 12" x 12’’) that pay homage to the Lewis Carroll stories, or, like event itself, blend elements of Wonderland with our own community. All proceeds from the auction support educational visual arts programs at the Delaplaine.

You do not need to attend the gala to participate in the online auction. Auction bids will be taken online beginning September 1 and ending at 9:15 pm on September 28, the evening of the event. Bidding is only available online, and winners will be notified electronically. Gala attendees can pick up their artworks at the event; others can pick their’s up at the Delaplaine during regular hours September 30–October 12.

This is a wonder-ful opportunity to support community visual arts education, especially for the underserved, at-risk, and marginalized populations served by the Delaplaine’s Community Outreach programs, and to gain a fun artwork by a local artist!
