After an introduction from Clay Pasternak of CPI, Inc., JT and Ryan began working together with Jib Machine assisting with distribution of Twice As High's first ever release, Double Eagle's Thurman's Kitchen. From there, the two developed a fast friendship and discussed collaborating on a project together. This was the beginning of what eventually led to RUSH FOR COVER.

Fast forward two plus years later and this vision is finally becoming a reality. RUSH FOR COVER features nine, new interpretations of classic RUSH songs by an international cast of independent, underground artists. RUSH FOR COVER is a RUSH tribute album created by RUSH fans for RUSH fans. The album will be available on opaque creamsicle and opaque sky blue vinyl along with a limited digital release.

So now you're probably thinking..."that's great, but what does this have to do with a fundraising auction?" Good question. Well, since this record is a celebration of RUSH, the guys thought it would be a good idea to auction off RUSH related memorabilia and donate 100% of the proceeds raised to benefit three cancer related organizations in memory of Neil Peart and people close to JT and Ryan. The three chosen organizations are The Glioblastoma Foundation, The V Foundation for Cancer Research (founded by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano) and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

The auction will run from March 15th until April 26th. There's some great stuff here so bid away and remember, it's all for a great cause!
