There is a distinct beauty in witnessing children thrive and achieve their full potential. However, due to unequal access to quality education, healthcare, and a safe, nurturing environment, this goal remains unattainable for many children.

Embracing this beauty and striving to extend access and opportunity universally, the Raleigh-Wake Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is hosting our annual fundraiser with a new twist: “Raleigh-Wake’s Derby Day” fundraising event.

To ensure a brighter future, this charitable event will benefit two non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting youth.

This year's beneficiaries include: The Jack and Jill of America Foundation, which raises funds to create equitable access to quality education, healthcare, and a safe, nurturing environment, and Myra’s Angels, a Wake County-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support and comfort to homeless and foster children by ensuring each child has access to basic essential items through a bag full of love.

The Event

Official Cigar Aficionado

•Adult only (21+) event for Mothers, Fathers, Associates and the community (Open to the Public)

•The event will feature a VIP reception (This will be open to MVP Raleigh-Wake Playmakers, Sponsors and VIP ticket purchasers) The VIP reception is from 2pm-3pm and will include hors d'oeuvres, an open bar, a complimentary cigar in our outdoor cigar lounge, VIP swag bag and our DJ spinning on the 1s and 2s.

•All ticket purchasers will enjoy a sit-down full course luncheon, live band, live auction, cash bar, access to the outdoor cigar lounge and will conclude with a dance party

•We will have a silent auction that will launch a couple of weeks prior to the event
