Who is International HELP

International Health Education for Local People (IHELP) is a Charlotte-based nonprofit that exists to train Community Health Workers (CHWs) around the world with basic health knowledge and skills to prevent disease and improve the health of their own communities. Our vision is to see the end of preventable diseases in underprivileged areas globally by educating, empowering, and equipping local health leaders, whose impact will change the course of their community.

Since our foundation in 2015, International HELP has established networks in 39 communities throughout 9 countries and trained over 600 community health workers, impacting 1,000s of lives.
