Up for Auction is the signed and framed #1/50 limited edition poster commemorating our 20th Maplewoodstock Festival.

This print will be on display at the Merch tent all weekend.

We will be closing the auction at precisely 9pm on Sunday, July 13th, 2025.

Background:

For years, we've asked local artists to volunteer their time by designing the beautiful t-shirts we've sold at the festival. Great artists like Mike Choi, Heather Kern, and others too numerous to thank have answered that call, allowing us to build a rich history of designs that we cherish. Indeed, you may have noticed that last year we had on display a magnificent annual t-shirt quilt that was sewn together by long time Maplewoodstock attendee Stephanie Asch and her Aunt Toby. The quilt is on display once again this year at the Merch tent.

So, we thought, why not use that quilt as the theme for a commemorative poster that honors the legacy of our designs? Enter Charlie McGuire. Charlie is an incredibly talented local graphic artist who has quietly volunteered his time to Maplewoodstock for many years by putting together our annual festival programs. If you have a chance, take a look at this year's edition because Charlie has outdone himself with retrospectives of both our t-shirt and artist histories. Working with the quilt in mind, Charlie lovingly created two posters that we think are very special.

The poster up for auction is the #1 print, signed by Charlie and Stephanie, from our 18"x24" limited edition run of 50. It is professionally framed to 23"x29" and will look absolutely fabulous wherever you may hang it.

Also available at the Merch tent will be a second poster, 12"x18", from an open unsigned edition. It's equally stunning.

Proceeds from the winning bid go to Music & Arts Education Project, Inc. (MAEP) — a Maplewood (NJ), 501(c)(3) organization that advocates for the inclusion and broadening of a comprehensive arts and music curriculum in all schools, in all grades, and for all students. Maplewoodstock is MAEP’s flagship annual event.
