When White Rose Books & More opened in 2023 the goal was never to be just a for-profit business. The goal was always to give back to our community and to make sure books were readily available to all children and teens in our area, to help fund literacy projects, to build early childhood literacy skills, and to get banned books back in the hands of our community.

Two years into opening our business, we are ready to launch our first fundraiser for our 501(c)(3) with an auction! We are so excited to present these items to you and to see if we can raise our goal of $50,000 before the end of November so that we can officially launch the projects we want to in 2026 and beyond.

$50,000 would be spent in the following ways:

$10,000 to buy banned books to distribute in free little libraries around central Florida

$25,000 for $500 grants to 50 teachers and K-12 Librarians to add to their classroom libraries

$15,000 for staffing costs for distribution and early childhood literacy events.
