Across Fort Bend, West Harris, and Waller counties, many seniors and low‑income families are living in unsafe or unstable homes. Some are still recovering from past storms. Others face failing roofs, broken plumbing, or mobility challenges that put their health at risk. For many, one more crisis could mean homelessness.

Katy Responds was created after Hurricane Harvey by local churches who refused to stand by while their neighbors suffered. What began as disaster recovery has grown into critical home repairs and age‑in‑place services for the most vulnerable in our community.

We are the only nonprofit in our region doing this work.
If we don’t do it, no one will.
