Why does Arrowhead need a new Tennis Facility?

The tennis courts are in very bad condition. The fencing is rusted, with poles coming out of the ground, and the fencing is too close to the courts for regulation tennis. The courts were last resurfaced about 16 years ago. There are very large cracks running between the courts and at the nets. (see video) There is also a road running between the courts that is dangerous to both players, spectators, and the public who use the courts. Ideally, we would like to move that road east to put all 12 courts together to avoid having players crossing in front of moving vehicles. We do have a Plan A and a Plan B, depending on whether or not the school is able to move the road. We would also like to build a pavilion/shelter with bathrooms for athletes and the public to use as well as a place for players to go during bad weather. Presently, we have a very small shelter that holds equipment with no bathroom. Improving the tennis courts would benefit both Arrowhead tennis and the community.
