This summer, while we’re melting the ice, we need your help to melt our debt! While we’re off the ice in July and August, the club will be hard at work making urgent, cost-saving upgrades that will make our ice even better — and more financially sustainable — when we come back in the fall. Here’s where you come in.

We need to raise $15,000 by July 29 to fund these projects — or we won’t be able to move forward. Donate now to help us slide gracefully into year two on our dedicated ice.

We can’t take anything for granted. Our first few years of operations is a make-or-break moment for the only dedicated ice facility in California.

Your gift now won’t just improve the ice for next season — you’ll help us continue to expand our membership and grow our sport for everyone. Plus, you’ll get the chance to celebrate the removal of the excess sand beneath our ice that’s been giving us headaches (and high power bills) since the beginning.

• Anyone who gives $50 or more will receive a commemorative bottle of sand
• Give $150 or more for your name to go on a sand memorial plaque in the club (+ bottle)

• Best of all, everyone who donates any amount will be invited to our Beach Day Summer Social at the club on Saturday, July 29 where we’ll all get a chance to build sandcastles and celebrate the banishment of the sand!

We’ve learned a lot in our first year of running the only dedicated curling facility in California. Now, with your help, we can apply that knowledge to make necessary improvements to our ice that we’ll all benefit from for years to come.
