ABOUT KINGDOM HOME

Kingdom Home exists to end child slavery through prevention. Founded by Chicago Cubs pitcher Matthew Boyd and his wife, Ashley, Kingdom Home supports and cares for children who were once at risk of exploitation in Uganda, by providing for their holistic needs, and access to education. We accomplish this by identifying children who are currently living in or are at risk of entering any form of slavery. The most common forms of slavery in Uganda are child sex slavery and forced child labor.

Once identified, these children are brought to live within the care of Kingdom Home until they are no longer at risk of being enslaved. Our children receive three healthy meals each day, mental and emotional care from on-site counselors, as well as loving guidance from their house parents. While also having access to a quality education from schools within their community.
