The Southern live oaks of Lakeshore are the living foundation of our neighborhood. Planted when our community was first established, these majestic trees have stood as silent guardians for decades, their sweeping canopies offering shade, character, and a deeply rooted sense of home.

However, our historic canopy is facing significant challenges. Years of severe weather and hurricane damage have taken a heavy toll, leaving some of our oldest trees in desperate need of professional trimming to remain healthy, while others have been lost entirely.

To ensure these beautiful trees continue to thrive for the next generation, we are hosting a Love Our Oaks fundraiser. Your contribution will go directly toward:

Preserving our legacy: Hiring arborists to trim, prune, and care for our old, existing oaks.
Rebuilding the canopy: Purchasing and planting new trees to replace the ones we’ve lost.
