We are pleased to announce the Second Annual My Motherland Bikeathon, taking place on Saturday, September 27, 2025. This year’s event will bring participants together to bike from Cincinnati to Columbus in support of our mission: helping children in rural Zimbabwe gain access to quality education and essential school supplies.

In addition to funding education, this year’s Bikeathon will support two key initiatives:

1. Student Wellness Checks – We are expanding our reach to include regular wellness assessments that address the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of every student we serve.

2. Community Resource Center – We are working to establish a central hub in the local community where families will be empowered through income-generating projects such as dishwashing soap production, bead bag creation, and other hands-on initiatives. This center will not only provide economic opportunities but will also serve as a resource center for education, training, and long-term community support.

Ways to Get Involved:

• Participate in the ride (all experience levels are welcome)

• Start a personal fundraising page to support our mission

• Spread the word in your networks

• Sponsor a rider or contribute to a student’s education and wellness
