1059 Market Street is a working denim factory where young people learn to make jeans by hand. On October 17, as Market Street fills for the festival, we open our doors.

You won't be watching. You'll be making.

What's on the Floor

🧵 Live chainstitch. Buy anything in the shop, we'll stitch your initials into it while you watch.
👖 The 501c3 Project: Jeans debuts. Try them on, get measured, join the waitlist.
🛍️ The pop-up shop. Totes, sling bags, mini jean keychains, letter keychains and patches, all made on this floor.
🧥 The Rack. Silent auction of one-of-one pieces, including hand-painted totes by Julian Prince Dash.
🔨 Live auction at 7pm, including the first numbered pair.
🏭 Factory tours, a DJ and drinks, doors to close.

Everything you buy or bid on tonight goes to Made on Market, our $250,000 campaign to keep this training floor open and take paid apprenticeships from two to six. The support that carried our rent since 2023 ends December 31.

Open Floor · FREE — entry, tours, shop, try-ons, The Rack. RSVP so we know you're coming.
Fellow & Alum · FREE — you trained on this floor, you're on the list.
Denim Session · $200 — 45 minutes with a maker customizing your own jeans or jacket. Eight only.
Machine Sponsor · $2,500 — ten guests, a chainstitched tote each, your name on a machine for a year.

Getting here: 1059 Market Street, between 6th and 7th, near Powell and Civic Center BART. It's a working factory, so wear closed-toe shoes if you want to get on a machine.

Proceeds benefit Holy Stitch! Factory Fellowship, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 92-3934596. The fair market value of goods and drinks received is not tax-deductible; your deductible amount is on your receipt.
