In the tri-state area, all of the food and drinks we purchase are being made in out-of-sight factories — factories that continue to profit off the exploitation of workers. And when workers speak out against these illegal working conditions, bosses retaliate against them. The boss has so many tools at their disposal to stop workers from fighting back — professional union busters, illegal threats of retaliation, threats of job loss, promises of improvement, constant surveillance and so much more.

But In the face of exploitation and these egregious acts made by the boss, workers are choosing to fight back and organize for improved workplace and safety conditions, and building worker power.

Workers have shared a need for support in building organizing strategies that can challenge their workplace conditions directly and secure the changes they need. And Brandworkers’ aims to provide this support, but we can’t do this without you.
