Metro Deaf School in St. Paul is one of Minnesota’s first public charter schools with a rich 30+ year history! MDS offers a unique bilingual (American Sign Language and English) education to Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing students, with programming from Early Childhood through High School & Transition.

At present, MDS serves 180 students from over 40 different school districts around the Twin Cities area and western Wisconsin.

The MDS Parent Teacher Group serves as a forum for parents, teachers, staff and community members to connect, discuss, and support MDS’ mission, vision, and progress.

This annual event is our biggest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds supporting MDS students and staff.

Big projects on the horizon this year - equipping the brand new gym, meeting classroom needs, stocking MDS food pantry, appreciation and recognition celebrations, academic and athletic team banquets, field trips, transportation costs for school-related events and competitions, and more!
