The 2nd Annual First Serve Banquet returns on August 22nd, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Deese Ballroom.

You're invited to the First Serve Banquet, a semi-formal evening of celebration, inspiration, and giving, hosted by the North Carolina A&T State University Volleyball Team! On August 22nd at 6:00 PM EST (Doors open at 5:30pm), we’ll come together for an unforgettable night featuring a delicious Barbecue dinner, a live auction, and a special guest speaker from the volleyball community.

As the first-ever HBCU to make the CAA conference tournament, we’re breaking barriers and making history—and we need your support to continue this momentum!

Event Highlights

- Live Auction: Bid on incredible items like signed jerseys, exclusive team gear, care packages, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences like being the coach for a day!
- Guest Speaker: Hear from Skylar Fields, An opposite hitter from Missouri City, Texas, Skylar is three-time All-American, earning two while at USC and one while at Texas. She is one of only 13 Trojans to earn multiple First Team All-America certificates. She was a member of the 2018 U.S. Junior National Team that won the U20 NORCECA Continental Championship.
- Barbecue Dinner: Enjoy a delicious meal while connecting with fellow volleyball enthusiasts, current and former players, alumni, and community members.
