For 90 years, the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) has helped schools and districts across North America build trust and strengthen connections with their communities. Behind every message, every newsletter, every carefully crafted response in a crisis, there’s a school communication professional working to keep families informed, students supported, and education accessible.

And behind them, there’s something just as important: a community that believes in their growth.

Established in 1985, the NSPRA Foundation has spent the last 40 years supporting the development, education, and innovation of the professionals who make strategic school communication possible. As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Foundation funds scholarships to the NSPRA National Seminar, supports communication-focused research, and expands access to professional learning, especially for those serving in under-resourced communities.

This year, the Silent Auction at the NSPRA 2026 National Seminar in New Orleans offers a new way to give. Auction items will be featured on the exhibit floor throughout the conference, giving attendees ongoing opportunities to browse, bid, and support the Foundation’s mission.
