The core value of the Nature Center is to be a place of hands-on discovery that fosters a deeper cultural and environmental understanding of the Santa Barbara Mountains and Santa Ynez Valley areas. Visiting schools, families and campers enjoy programs and exhibits such as Food for Thought, Creepy Creatures, Going “Batty,” Nature Center Detectives, Nature Workshops, Trout in the Classroom, and Saving Wildlife, along with many other engaging and educational programs throughout the year.
