A Day of LOVE, Healing, and Community Impact

At the heart of our upcoming charity event is a simple but powerful truth — we are stronger together, so let’s LOVE together.

Worldwide Love Campaign (WWLC) is a family-operated nonprofit dedicated to spreading love through action by providing lux backpacks to marginalized individuals. Each backpack is thoughtfully packed with hygiene products and necessities. Through our “Buy One, Give One” program, every purchase directly supports someone experiencing displacement, creating a ripple of compassion and community impact. Our vision extends beyond outreach: WWLC is working to establish a central headquarters — a space where clothing production, design, and backpack assembly can operate under one roof. This facility will also serve as a mentorship and training hub for youth and young adults in foster care, equipping them with purpose, skills, and guidance to help prevent homelessness before it begins. With every backpack packed and every life empowered, WWLC builds a more compassionate and connected community.

Join us in making a difference through our community impact event in Old Town Orange, in collaboration with American Barber Shop, owned by Albert Trujillo. Albert, an Afghanistan War and USMC Combat Veteran, has turned his barbershop into a hub for connection and positive change. His heart for service is evident through his work as a Board Member of the Life After Love Foundation and his active roles with the Orange Chamber of Commerce, Underground Grit, Orange Elks Lodge, and Orange VFW. Albert’s dedication to community, unity, and philanthropy perfectly aligns with our mission—making American Barber Shop the ideal partner for this initiative. Together, we’re standing for LOVE, service, and lasting impact.

We are honored to partner with incredible organizations that bring healing, support, and resources to those who need it most to our community.

At the HRC (Hub Resource Center), services operate on a fair, first-come, first-served basis with same-day appointments to ensure timely support. HRC offers laundry, showers, hot meals, and mail services, and on select days, they provide haircuts, medical, dental, and vision care, along with social services and community groups.

Meanwhile, Mariposa has served Orange County since 1977, offering innovative counseling programs and therapies to help individuals and families achieve balance at home and at work. From individual therapy to group sessions with fellow survivors, Mariposa is dedicated to supporting the healing journey of every person who walks through their doors. Together, these organizations exemplify compassion, care, and the power of community.

It's truly our pleasure to partner with the Life After Love Foundation, founded by Darren and Emilia Sugiyama in honor of their late son, Estevan. Through their own journey of unimaginable loss, they discovered the power of faith, therapy, and healing. Life After Love now connects bereaved parents with vital grief resources and offers scholarships so that no family faces their healing journey alone. Their mission is a living testament that LOVE truly can bring life after loss.

Adding a profound artistic dimension to the event is Thomas Halbur, known as TouchofSeoul. Born in South Korea and raised in Omaha, Thomas is a dedicated volunteer and philanthropist whose art blends Korean heritage, Western animation, and Christian symbolism. His work speaks to identity, healing, and rebirth — reminding us that beauty can rise from brokenness and that faith is the final brushstroke of restoration.

This gathering is made possible by the generosity of friends, family, and community partners who share a vision of hope, LOVE, and restoration for those in need. We’re honored to have Bunz Burgers of Huntington Beach founder Hany Botros join us, providing his world-famous smash burgers for volunteers — a small gesture that reflects a big spirit of community care and compassion.

And because no gathering is complete without connection over a great cup of coffee, we’re thrilled to welcome Realm Coffee — Elevating Every Experience. Based in Southern California, Realm Coffee brings exceptional craftsmanship, warmth, and hospitality to every event. Founded by Daniel and Kathleen Henderson, the duo transforms every gathering into something memorable — perfectly capturing the heart and spirit of this day.

To bring our mission to life, we’ll be hosting a community bag-packing gathering complete with music, food, and coffee. Our goal is to prepare and distribute 100 or more fully stocked WWLC backpacks for individuals experiencing displacement, and to raise the support needed to sustain and expand our outreach. Our vision is to ensure that every person in need in Orange receives a WWLC bag and knows they are LOVED, seen, and never forgotten.
