Painting the Future and University of Tulsa are coming together to showcase artwork of displaced Ukrainian children and Ukrainian artists from May 5 - June 4 to help more displaced Ukrainian children and to raise further awareness of the ongoing humanitarian crisis. We are auctioning all the artwork online in the "Auction" tab above until closing night on June 4. We will be hosting a pre-event cocktail party on May 4 at 5:00 PM at University of Tulsa's Oklahoma Center for the Humanities newly acquired space at 101 E. Archer St! Please RSVP to [email protected] if you would like to attend. Painting the Future is a nonprofit that provides displaced children with art workshops as an opportunity for children to express themselves and find solace through their creativity as well as essential items to benefit displaced children, with a current focus on Ukrainian children. While conducting art workshops for displaced Ukrainian children in Ukraine, we collected some donated paintings from the children with the purpose of helping other displaced Ukrainian children with those paintings. In addition to these paintings, we collected artworks from Ukrainian artists to further provide a broad picture of Ukraine from different lens. Through these artworks, you will be able to see how Ukrainians are processing their emotions through their creations.
