Almost forty years ago, a group of Portland families started a swim team. They called it the Portland Parks Swim Team, and with help from Portland Parks and Recreation, it grew into what we now know as PAC. It’s still run by families today. Parents coach, organize meets, and run fundraisers, year after year, just like it started.

Since then, thousands of kids have learned to swim, race, and push themselves a little further at PAC. Some went on to swim in college. Most just made lifelong friends and learned what it feels like to be part of a team.

None of that happens without support, and swimming is an expensive sport. We never want cost to be the reason a kid has to stop. This auction funds the scholarships that make sure every swimmer who wants to be here can be.

This year’s auction has Timbers, Fire and Blazers tickets, coastal house getaways, an Airstream weekend, and gift cards to local restaurants and wineries, plus tastings and tours. You’ve got a full week to bid, so take your time, find something you love, and know that every dollar goes straight back to our swimmers.

Please share the link with your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. The more people who see it, the more we can give back.

Thank you for being part of this team, in whatever way that looks for you.
