Welcome to our very first silent auction in support of Monterey Audubon Society! Whether you are bidding from home or joining us in person at The Ship's Store in Moss Landing on 8/29, every dollar raised directly fuels local bird conservation, field trips and stewardship across the greater Monterey Bay region.

The Story Behind the Mission

Since the 1040s, Monterey Audubon Society has served as a primary steward for the unique bird populations that call our coastline home. From our majestic grasslands in South County to the rocky shores of Point Pinos, our local habitats face increasing environmental pressures.

As an independent, local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on community members like you to keep our work soaring. 100% of auction proceeds will stay right here at home to fund:

Pioneering Conservation Science: Conducting crucial local field research, including the Point Pinos Seawatch, one of North America’s premier seabird migration surveys.
Local Species Protection: Protecting vulnerable breeding colonies, like our beloved Seaside Heermann’s Gulls.
Community & Education: Running free public bird walks, accessible field trips, and monthly presentations that inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.

Exhibition Dates: Morgan Lewis's paintings will remain on display and available for purchase at The Ship's Store during normal business hours (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 7 days a week) through October 11th, 2026.
Live Painting Demo: Mark your calendars! Join artist Morgan Lewis for a live painting demonstration at The Ship's Store on Saturday, September 12th (details TBA).
