For 30 years, Healthcare for Homeless Animals has been funding life-saving medical care for the shelter animals at Agoura Animal Care Center (Los Angeles County shelter) so they can heal, recover, and have the second chance they deserve.

Many of the animals we fund care for arrive injured, sick, senior, neglected, or in pain. Some need urgent diagnostics, surgeries, dental care, medications, hospitalization, senior wellness care, foster recovery, rehabilitation, spay and neuter, or ongoing treatment before they can become healthy, happy, and ready for the loving homes they have been waiting for.

Healthcare for Homeless Animals is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We can only do this work with the support of donations, sponsors, volunteers, fosters, and the community that adopts, shares, and loves on our animals.

This year, we are celebrating our 30th Anniversary Fundraiser on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Westlake Yacht Club in Westlake Village. Our goal is to raise $75,000 to continue funding lifesaving medical care for shelter animals who need us most.

Every ticket, donation, sponsorship, raffle item, silent auction gift, and share helps us keep saying yes when an animal needs medical care.
