Welcome to what is slowly becoming my monthly art auction, otherwise known as my ongoing attempt to move pieces into loving homes before I become a full-blown hoarder with better lighting.

This July 4th collection was made for this beautiful, battered, miraculous, maddening country of ours — a place filled with complicated and contradictory hearts. A country that can break your heart and still somehow make you want to paint it. A country of fireworks and fault lines, porch lights and protest signs, grief, grace, hot dogs, history, and people still trying like hell to become more tender than they were handed.

So here they are.

A few pieces for America.
A few pieces for the ache.
A few pieces for anyone still stubborn enough to believe beauty belongs in the room.
