100% of the profits from this elegant evening will directly fund the development of "Strength and Survival: Creative Expressions of Overcoming Suicide and Loss," the first initiative in our Meraki Projects series. This powerful project aims to bring art-based healing experiences to communities across America and eventually the world, addressing the growing mental health crisis.

“Meraki is a Greek word that means to do something with soul, creativity, or love,” says Belle Toh, Founder and President of Transformance Art. “Our Meraki Projects will be a series of expressive artistic experiences that will promote hope, healing, and restoration and raise awareness about challenging topics that have a lasting impact in our communities.”

"Strength and Survival: Creative Expressions of Overcoming Suicide and Loss" will curate a moving artistic experience featuring new music compositions, artwork, and dance choreography created by professional artists who have personally overcome suicide and loss. These powerful works will serve as the foundation of the project, much like a main exhibit in an art museum.

Why this project first?

More than 800,000 people die due to suicide each year.
A person dies by suicide every 11 minutes in the U.S.
Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death in the U.S. for ages 10-14 and 25-34.
Youth and young adults ages 10-24 account for 15% of all suicides.
Males account for 77.97% of all U.S. suicides.
Veterans are at a 57% higher risk of suicide than their non-veteran peers.
