This fundraiser was created in loving memory of Maria Marsico, a woman whose heart was rooted in compassion, strength, and unwavering support for others. Maria was the kind of person who helped first and asked questions later — someone who stood beside the people she loved during their hardest moments and believed deeply in lifting others up.

In her honor, we are raising funds to support survivors of domestic violence and to promote mental health awareness and recovery. Domestic violence is not only a matter of physical safety — it carries long-lasting emotional and psychological effects. Healing requires not only shelter, but access to support systems, counseling, and compassionate community care.

We chose to partner with Safe Haven of Hampstead, North Carolina, because their mission aligns with the values Maria lived by: protection, dignity, advocacy, and empowerment for women and families in crisis. Safe Haven provides critical services and safe refuge to those navigating the trauma of domestic violence, helping them rebuild their lives with strength and hope.

Through this auction and community event, we aim to turn love into action — honoring Maria’s legacy by supporting women who deserve safety, understanding, and a path forward.
