When I was 12 years old, I was a child in a shelter due to war.

War had taken everything familiar. In the middle of all that uncertainty, art became my only certainty, the one thing that was still mine, the one place I had a way through.

I am Lebanese-American. I built Revive Baladna because I know what it means to be a child reaching for a pencil when the world outside makes no sense. And I know that art is not a luxury; it is how children survive.

A 10-year-old named Nour used to fill entire notebooks with drawings, houses, trees, and her cat. Since the war and displacement, she hasn't picked up a pencil. "She just stares," her mother says. "She doesn't know how to start again."

Hundreds of children across North Lebanon and Beirut, including Nour, have lost access to the simple joys of childhood. Revive Baladna exists to give back to the community.

What your support does

Each workshop:

2–3-hour guided creative-healing session for 30 children ages 8–14 in shelters across Lebanon.
Every child who participates receives a Creative Recovery Kit: journals, paints, and storytelling materials entirely theirs to keep.

Studies show that art reduces stress. It lowers cortisol, supports emotional regulation, and helps children process experiences that words cannot hold. This is not just a program. It is evidence-based creative recovery.

Phase 1: 3 workshops for 100 children begin as soon as we confirm funding. Every dollar moves us closer to that moment.
100% of proceeds go directly to programs on the ground.

$30,000 ÷ 300 children = $100 per child. One child. One full experience. One childhood partially restored.

Donation Tiers

$50 - Creative Recovery Kit: Provides tools for creative expression that they keep long after the workshop ends: journals, paints, colored pencils, oil pastels, and storytelling materials. This is the foundation of every child's healing experience in Revive Baladna.

$100 - One full childhood experience: Funds one child's complete program, kit, and workshop participation. $100 = one child, fully supported.

$600 - Workshop contribution: Partial support for a 30-child workshop: materials, facilitation, and emotional care for an afternoon of creative healing.

$3,000 - Sponsor a full workshop: Fully funds a workshop for 30 children, covering all costs. Named recognition in the impact report and a dedicated social media feature.

$6,000 - Community program sponsor: Covers two workshops for 60 children and provides recovery kits in a single shelter, ensuring sustained impact for one community. Full impact report, curated artwork collection, and co-branded CSR recognition.
