I’m deeply honored to serve as a co-director at BPF, an organization and spiritual movement home at the heart of weaving together spiritual grounding and justice-driven action.
In my own community, I’ve seen how the people most impacted by systemic violence are often the least likely to have access to spaces for rest and healing. BPF changes that. We create spaces where grief workers, healers, and justice organizers—the caretakers of change—can find what they need to continue showing up for themselves and their communities.
Supporting the Caretakers of Change
At BPF, we believe that repair is sacred work. It’s about more than tending to individual wounds—it’s about mending the fabric of our communities and reclaiming what was lost. That’s why our work centers the people who quietly sustain movements behind the scenes: the grief workers, spiritual guides, healers, and artists.
These are the people who hold the scaffolding of justice. They support others in profound ways, yet their labor is often unseen, undervalued, and underfunded. I know firsthand how easy it is to feel depleted and disconnected without a space to breathe. That’s why I’m so passionate about ensuring these quiet pillars of change have the resources and care they need to thrive.
Programs like Refuge Circle have been transformational. This year, over 50 community members gathered in Refuge Circle to ground themselves spiritually while taking bold action—whether it was standing for justice in Palestine, responding to climate crises, or simply showing up for one another in moments of profound loss.
Why I’m Asking You to Join Me
As a steward in this work, I know how important it is to have a space where you can come as you are—to grieve, to breathe, to rest, and to reconnect with the work in a way that feels whole. I’ve experienced this for myself through BPF, and I’ve seen it happen for others.
This is why I believe so deeply in our collective Sacred Drive. It’s about fueling not just programs but people—uplifting the caretakers of change and ensuring they have what they need to keep going. When you contribute, you’re helping us build a future where spiritual strength and justice flow freely, where we can meet the challenges of our time with courage, care, and community.
Thank you for being here, for witnessing my story, and for considering supporting this sacred work. Together, we are weaving a future where everyone belongs, and no one is left behind.
