On Saturday, November 15, 2025, SELF Inc. will host our annual flagship fundraising event, the SELF in the City Gala, at the Hilton Philadelphia-City Avenue Grand Ballroom. In addition to celebrating the work SELF Inc. has accomplished thus far, we will honor distinguished guests who have significantly impacted Philadelphia and its surrounding counties by advocating for the unhoused and those experiencing housing insecurity.

Honorees include Rep. Joanna E. McClinton - Democratic Speaker of the House, Rickey Duncan, Sr. - President and CEO of NOMO, Sheryl Lee Ralph - Award-Winning Actress, Singer, and Advocate, and the Horizon Youth Awardee (to be announced that evening).

All proceeds from this event will support SELF Inc.'s various programs and services, including case management services, street outreach, permanent supportive housing, emergency housing, temporary and rapid rehousing for adults and young people ages 18-24, community food distribution, and wellness programs for those with mental illness and/or substance use disorder.

Starting at 6 p.m., this will be an epic night of generosity, love, and empowerment.

The Horizon Youth Award recognizes a young Philadelphian, ages 18 to 24, who has significantly contributed to addressing homelessness and supporting those in need within vulnerable communities. This person may also have had lived experience and a strong determination to drive change.
