The UpENDing Parkinson’s Portland Climbing Group is committed to building a supportive and empowering community for those affected by Parkinson’s disease. Through climbing, we provide an opportunity for individuals to engage in movement that can help lessen symptoms, improve strength, and enhance overall well-being. Our mission is to foster resilience, connection, and accessibility in the climbing world while raising awareness and support for Parkinson’s research and resources.

Send 2 Upend is a community-driven climbing event benefiting the UpENDing Parkinson’s Evo Portland Climbing Group. Participants can register for $25 and take part in a Climb-a-thon, raising funds through sponsorships and donations. Whether you’re climbing for personal achievement or in honor of a loved one, every ascent helps upend the challenges of Parkinson’s.

In addition to the Climb-a-thon, we’ll host a silent auction, featuring gear, gift cards, and experiences generously donated by local businesses, outdoor retailers, and local restaurants. All proceeds will directly support our mission to provide accessible climbing programs and to help fund Parkinson’s research.
