Story
Since 1930, the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem has been forging Great Futures for local youth. Through engaging programs in Education, Leadership, Wellness, Recreation, and the Arts, the Club has been a needed haven for our children both then and now. We fill a critical need for today’s youth by not only providing these programs, but also by assisting with homework completion, serving hot meals, and providing positive and consistent mentorship.
It will come as no surprise that programs like ours don’t “just happen”. These offerings are the result of caring people like you choosing to support our mission financially. It is in the spirit of support and community that we extend this invitation to you! We are hosting the annual Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem Steak & Burger Dinner on Friday, October 20, 2023 at WindCreek Bethlehem. This event brings our community of supporters together for a fun-filled evening to meet and share a meal with our kids.
In addition to celebrating our youth, this year we are excited to be honoring the Mayor of Bethlehem, J. William Reynolds. Mayor Reynolds played basketball at the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem during his childhood. As a City Council Member, City Council President, and now Mayor, he has always been a strong advocate for creating a Bethlehem that nurtures and invests in the educational and recreational experiences for our City's young people.
We are excited to also welcome former Philadelphia Eagles Running Back, Brian Westbrook. Brian played football at his local Boys & Girls Club at the start of what would become an illustrious football journey. Brian was awarded NFL First-Team All-Pro honors in 2007 and the Walter Payton Award in 2001. Today, Brian remains connected to football as an analyst and on-air personality. He is involved in supporting entrepreneurial companies in the sports-technology industry, a philanthropist, and Founder of the Westbrook Horse Farm.
Below you will find sponsorship opportunities and event brochure with further details about how you can be a part of and support this fun-filled fundraiser. Now, more than ever, your support for this event will help to ensure that the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem can continue providing needed support to the youth we serve for years to come. We truly hope to see you there!
