2026 Swamp Boogie

Year three, baby! First Magnitude Brewing Co. and Florida Springs Council are bringing back Swamp Boogie, our annual celebration of and fundraiser for Florida's wild, weird, beautiful springs and swampy places. As always, swamp-vibes live music, swamp puppies, local artists, and cold craft beer make fighting for them a whole lot more fun.

ADMISSION IS FREE but help give the swamps and springs a fighting chance, consider donating now using the donate button on this page (and leave us an encouraging comment!) While you're at Swamp Boogie, stop by the FSC table to buy some FSC springs shirts, manatee pint glasses, hats, throw in your hat to win cool items, and help us fund the legal and policy battles that are holding the line against unsustainable development, water waste, polluters, data centers, and all forms of exploitation of our inland watery places.

ARTISTS/VENDORS

Start at 5:00 and grab a cold beer to peruse local art vendors, commune with live reptiles, watch the glass-blower make glass profanatee manatees and FUND SPRINGS PROTECTION by purchasing some springs swag from the Florida Springs Council. Visit FSC's welcome table to grab a wristband that entitles you to $1 off every beer for the rest of the evening (thank you First Mag!) and peruse raffle items.

Y'ALL, THERE'S A GLASS BLOWER!

And he'll be making little glass versions of our "profanatee manateee," who had to grow middle fingers just to show how disappointed he is in what's happening to his springs. Come see local High Springs artist Corey Green live-glass blown art in the beer garden!

FIRST MAGNITUDE SPRINGS DUNK TANK

Throw your best shot at a local Gainesville celeb in the First Magnitude Springs Dunk Tank featuring a lineup of politicians, business owners & springs protectors! All proceeds will go towards the springs legal fund to hold polluters and politicians accountable for springs pollution!

SILENT AUCTION & RAFFLE

There will be a wide selection of swampy art and fun items to raise funds for the Florida Springs Council's legal challenges and help us celebrate our 10th year of springs protection! If you aren't present when the raffle is called, you can pick up your items at First Mag during business hours within the following week.
