Coined "the Harlem as the West", listen as the Tenia Nelson Band, accompanied by the Boulder Philharmonic, tickles your ear to the timeless 1960 jazz arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, while learning about legendary cornerstones of Colorado's African American history  .
