The Wildlife Center of Southwest Florida is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that cares for native wild birds, mammals, and reptiles, with the exception of marine mammals.

Our center is different from other wildlife centers in that we are not a zoo. We are a hospital and rehabilitation center. We strive to get each and every patient back out into the wild where they belong. Every step of the way is paved by decisions based on what is best for that animal.

Additionally, through various programs, we strive to educate the community on how to successfully co-exist with our wildlife. Helping to spread awareness of each and every animal species' importance to our environment and ecosystems.

We are state and federally licensed, and because of our permits, the public is not allowed past the entry point for delivering a sick or injured animal.
