As this year wraps up, we’re looking back at everything MEDIUM Art Center has accomplished with the help of this community. It’s been a year of big shifts, big growth, and big work. And today, on Giving Tuesday, we’re asking for your help to keep that momentum alive.

In the past year, we moved into a new downtown location, expanded our programming, and extended our hours. We’re growing fast, but we’re still operating on a tiny budget, one part-time staff member, and a team of volunteers who show up because they believe art should be for everyone.

This year, we also watched major funding sources shift across the state. Grants we have relied on in the past have either been reduced or paused entirely. Like many small nonprofits, we’re feeling the impact. We continue our mission because we know how important accessible art spaces are in rural communities. But doing this work now depends more than ever on direct community support.

At MEDIUM, artists never pay submission fees, and commissions are optional. Your donations keep that possible. They keep the doors open five days a week. They pay for insurance, electricity, internet, supplies, prints, tools, and the dozens of small things that make big things happen. They ensure that local artists, youth, and community members have a place to gather, connect, and create.
