Welcome to "Rooted in Giving: Teravana's Holiday Auction" – your opportunity to make a meaningful impact this holiday season! By participating in our auction, you'll not only support our non-profit's vital programs, including reforestation efforts and artist creativity programs, but you'll also discover compelling reasons to give during this special time of the year.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Teravana nurtures the symbiotic relationship between human health and planetary well-being through rigorous community outreach, educational initiatives, and environmental advocacy.

Through our programs and initiatives such as the Living Tree Library, Awakened Spirit, and Tree School, Teravana seeks to reciprocally contribute to the betterment of human well-being through the restoration of the planet. We aspire that individuals leave our programs as agents for change for themselves and the environment.

Why Donate to Our Cause?

It's no secret that our Earth is in dire need of assistance. Old-growth forests are vanishing at an alarming rate across the United States. Teravana's initiative, the Living Library project, plants redwoods, sequoias, oaks, native trees, and edible fruit trees. Teravana serves as a model forest, enhancing biodiversity, soil health, water filtration, wildfire mitigation, and carbon sequestration.

Our mission extends beyond reforestation; we act as a community hub, an educational resource for local schools and residents, and a testament to ecological restoration and climate resilience. Nearby K-12 schools in Sonoma County will be actively involved in our Tree School initiative, fostering a deeper understanding of tree planting and forest care. Together, we're sowing the seeds of global environmental impact through responsible stewardship.

Our additional programs, such as Awakened Spirit, play a significant role in promoting human well-being and overall health. Awakened Spirit is dedicated to providing courses on mindfulness and yoga, with a curriculum that revolves around the essential principles of Mind, Body, and Earth. These courses delve deep into the authentic practices of yoga and mindfulness, as well as permaculture, serving as potent tools to ignite heart-centered living and inspire lasting, sustainable change. Located in the heart of Cazadero, California, Teravana envisions a world where participants emerge from our programs as empowered ambassadors for positive change.
