The GBA proudly serves geocachers across the nine Bay Area counties—and beyond! With that regional spirit in mind, we've curated an exciting array of auction items that truly showcase the fun, diversity, and adventure of our home. We're also doing all we can to encourage you to get out and about—hiding caches, finding caches, and CITO’ing along the way.

The Auction

To participate in the auction, you must register with the Givebutter platform. You can conveniently access it via your computer, tablet, or smartphone. You can also download the Givebutter app to enhance your experience.

To view the Online Auction, scroll to the top of this screen and click the Auction button- way up at the top of the screen. You will be asked to register before you can place a bid. You can preview without registering but it’s quick and easy. Here’s a link to a short video that walks you through it.

About The GBA

The Geocachers of the Bay Area formed in 2005 and became a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2014, continuing our on-going dedication to furthering the sport of geocaching.

The GBA is governed by an all volunteer board. We support and encourage a greater sense of community among geocachers, primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our Mission

Geocachers of the Bay Area is a California Nonprofit Corporation organized to promote education, environmental stewardship and enjoyment of the outdoors through the sport of geocaching.

That comes with the Givebutter platform. Frankly, we’d rather you bid yourself silly on items we’ve pulled together for you. If you still want to click that button, we then suggest you become a GBA Supporting Member or add to the life of your existing Membership. If you still want to donate - You’re an angel, thank you! But really, we just want you to have a good time at the auction and at the event.
