Since 1998, VerShare has been working to build community resilience, support economic development, and foster youth opportunity in Vershire, VT. Today, this looks like running the local food shelf, hosting an annual free kids summer camp, operating a small shop selling local food and artisan goods, and hosting community events.

VerShare also owns the historic Church-Orr House, home to the Stagecoach Hostel. This hostel provides affordable lodging to those visiting our town and the surrounding area. This includes short-term visitors, but also traveling nurses seeking housing during their multi-month stays in our area.

One of the primary financial challenges VerShare currently faces is rising insurance premiums. Proper insurance coverage is very important when hosting a camp for 100+ kids each year, as well as operating a hostel. The other key financial challenge is maintaining and improving the Church-Orr House to ensure it is a safe and comfortable building for its occupants and for the community.

We have worked closely with many businesses, artists, and practitioners throughout the Upper Valley to solicit donations for this auction. Your support is very appreciated.
