We are holding an online auction to purchase the coveted, 24 low-numbered Pickleball Washington State license plates!
Become one of the OG Pickleball State Sport license plate holders—even pick your own lucky number!

Dedicated pickleballers around the state can obtain these plates by participating in our online auction November 8–17, 2025. This auction is the only opportunity to bid on coveted low-numbered Pickleball State Sport plates.

Available numbers in this auction are PB00002 - PB00025. Low-numbered license plates are desirable to collectors as a way of showing they were among the first to purchase these plates. The remaining Pickleball special plates are available to the general public on November 1, 2025, starting with plate #00026.

Proceeds from DOL state sport license plate sales will be used for the construction and maintenance of public dedicated pickleball courts across Washington State. Proceeds from the online auction will cover operating expenses and accelerate the revenue stream from license plate sales to benefit pickleball.

Ending times will be staggered 30 minutes for each item beginning with the lowest available number (#00002). Winning bidders will be notified. If you are not the winning bidder for an item, you may then bid on the next available lowest number. Bidders may bid on multiple plates at the same time if they wish to purchase multiple plates.

Winning bidders must be registered owners of vehicle(s) registered in Washington state and will be responsible for Washington Department of Licensing special plate registration and renewal fees.
