We Rock! Chicago (formerly Girls Rock! Chicago) is celebrating 20 years of empowering youth through music!

We are celebrating 20 years since our first camp season in 2006 and hope to raise $20,000 to support our unique music and social justice education programs at our upcoing auction fundraiser on Saturday, May 2nd.

Our main program offering is our annual summer camps for girls, trans, and gender expansive youth. Each summer, nearly 100 youth learn an instrument, form a band, write an original song, and record and perform their song, all in one week! Through mentorship, collaboration, and creativity, campers develop not only musical skills but leadership, community, and confidence that carry far beyond the stage.

This event will raise critical funds to ensure WeR!C programs remain accessible to all youth, including those who rely on scholarships to participate. Currently, over 30% of campers receive financial assistance to attend camp. Now, more than ever, our youth need a safe and supportive space to express themselves, find their voice, and use it loudly.
