Women’s Event is The Center's premier event celebrating the contributions of LGBTQ+ women. The gala and after party help us raise the critical funds necessary to sustain our life-saving programs and services and to ensure our safe and affirming space is open and accessible to LGBTQ+ New Yorkers who need it.

This evening's honorees are Keia Clarke, CEO of the New York Liberty and Dr. Renee Mclaughlin, National Medical Director, Cigna Healthcare, and comedian Sydnee Washington is our host!

Clarke is in her 14th season with the Liberty, where she has worked tirelessly to create welcoming spaces for LGBT players and fans alike. As one of the few Black women executives in the WNBA, she has and continues to be an ally and champion of the LGBTQ+ community.

As National Medical Director for for Value-Based Relationships and Transgender Health, Mclauglin leads leads a team focused on the design, implementation, and management of collaborative partnerships with health care providers to improve health outcomes. She has a strong interest in LGBT health and workforce issues, and specifically those affecting gender-diverse people. She has served on the leadership team for Cigna's LGBT Colleague Resource Group and is an internal and external resource on transgender-related issues.

Tonight's After Party will include a special performance by duo Nina Sky, and DJ Mary Mac (fresh off a tour with Madonna) spinning all night.
