Voices United PHX

Is a two-week grassroots fundraiser and digital awareness campaign rallying Phoenix artists, venues, and businesses together to raise awareness and money for the Emergency Worker Legal Defense Fund. Led by OPIN Org, Puente, and Poder in Action, the fund supports local workers impacted by ICE raids through legal aid and bond support.

As individuals, our reach and impact is limited, but combining our collective digital reach, we can initiate real change and make a difference!

Week 1: We will be promoting OPIN Org's virtual training for people to learn how to canvass and approach local businesses to share crucial information about knowing their rights if ICE were to come. (these have been highly attended and very successful for the past couple months)

Week 2: Using what we’ve learned from the online training we’ll organize at least 1 in-person neighborhood canvass event, hopefully more.

Celebration Gathering: Sunday August 31st at Central Records. Talks and Panels, DJ's, art and community all come together to celebrate our progress and all meet and connect in person. The Virtual Auction will end IN-PERSON. Artists showcase, Food & Drinks, and Final Bids!
