What began as a single night of global celebration on April 12 — honoring Yuri Gagarin’s first human spaceflight and the first Space Shuttle launch — has grown into a worldwide movement spanning over 80 countries, bringing together astronauts, artists, educators, and dreamers under one mission:
to use the power of space to bring the world together.

From community star parties to large-scale events at science centers and music festivals, Yuri’s Night events ignite curiosity, creativity, and compassion. Through the SpaceKind Foundation, our nonprofit home, we’ve launched initiatives that foster inclusion, STEM engagement, and global connection — proving that the exploration of space can unite people across all borders and backgrounds.
