Yuri’s Night 25th Anniversary Fundraiser: From Earth to the Stars, Together

For 25 years, Yuri’s Night has united the world through space, transforming April 12 into a global celebration of humanity’s past, present, and future beyond Earth. What began in Los Angeles in 2001 has grown into a worldwide movement spanning dozens of countries, bringing together astronauts, artists, scientists, and dreamers to celebrate our shared place in the cosmos.

This year, we returned to where it all began in Los Angeles for our 25th Anniversary flagship celebration at the iconic Griffith Observatory. Thousands gathered for a full day of free public programming featuring astronaut talks, immersive exhibits, science demonstrations, and interactive experiences designed to bring space exploration to life.

The evening’s featured program highlighted voices shaping the future of space, including NASA astronaut Ron Garan and astronaut and cinematographer Jannicke Mikkelsen, alongside visionary thinker Frank White. Together, they shared perspectives that remind us space is not just about exploration. It is about connection, responsibility, and our collective future.
