A Night To Remember

A Different Mindset Association consists of individuals who have lost someone to dementia/Alzheimer’s; have someone currently dealing with this disease; or works in a profession that assists individuals suffering with dementia/Alzheimer’s. As diagnoses of the disease rise, we believe there is a need to network with resources in the Ellis County, KS area to promote awareness and educate the public about dementia/Alzheimer’s.

Additionally, we provide support groups for those caring for a loved one with dementia/Alzheimer’s. We also as provide day programs and field trip activities for those suffering with dementia/Alzheimer’s. These respite and engagement opportunities give caregivers needed time for themselves.

Our purpose is to bring people together who share the experience of being a caregiver. To encourage each other and to provide caregivers a safe, supportive, nonthreatening and non-judgmental atmosphere to connect with others.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization modeled after The Deeper Window Association, Leavenworth, KS.
